Intake 2024 Open Events

School Visits: Monday 8 January 2023

This year we are pleased to be able to hold our Open Days during school hours again.  To ensure that you have the best experience when visiting our school, we will be limiting the number of adults on each tour to 4 (there is no limit on the number of children).

It is important that you book a place by emailing the school office (office@parkroadprimary.co.uk) and that you arrive promptly at the tour start time.  To allow us to book your visit, please could you provide us with your name, your child's name, a contact telephone number, preferred date and time slot as well as the number of adults attending (a maximum of 2 adults per booking).  Please let us know if you are unable to make one of the dates and we can look at alternatives for you.

Prospective Parents

Prior to the admission process being implemented parents can register their interest in gaining a place at Park Road by contacting the school office - please forward your child's name, date of birth, address, your name and your contact number (our email address is office@parkroadprimary.co.uk).  We can then use this information to keep you up to date.

Transition into School

Details on submitting your application for a place at primary school are on the www.warrington.gov.uk website - we follow the Warrington Local Authority timings for applications and details of our admissions arrangements can be found in the document at the bottom of this page.

https://www.warrington.gov.uk/primary-school-admissions

Once places have been allocated, we will invite the children and parents to a welcome meeting and will plan a number of visits for the children in school before the summer holidays.  Weather permitting, we will also hold a Teddy Bears' Picnic for the current Reception class and the new starters so that new parents have a chance to chat to the teachers, current parents and, of course, the current Reception children themselves!

Starting at Park Road Community Primary School

The children will start school part time for the first week or so in September, more details to follow. The main emphasis for the Foundation Stage is to learn through play and we have lots of lovely activities to help them develop.

The admissions policy can be found in the policies section of our website.

Admissions Booklet

Updated: 25/09/2023 950 KB
This is the information booklet that we ask parents to complete when their child joins the school. Since the changes to the Data Protection Law (GDPR) in May 2018, we have updated the booklet so initially all children in school will be asked to complete the booklet to ensure we have the most up to date information.
