Family, friends and members of the community helped to raise over £1,000 during this year's annual summer fair.

The event, organised by Park Road Community Primary School's PFA was a great success with a host of games, stalls and activities for visitors to take part in. The money will now be put towards the school's sensory garden project.

One of the popular attractions, the Teddy Tombola, allowed participants to try their luck for just £1 per go, guaranteeing a prize each time. Another crowd favourite was the Bottle Tombola, where fair-goers could win prizes by purchasing three balls. The Chocolate Tombola and Book/Toy Tombola offered participants the chance to win exciting goodies with each entry.

For those seeking a splash of excitement, the Soak the Teacher booth was an opportunity to drench teachers with three sponges for only £1. Children could also test their skills at the Hole in 1 game or enjoy pony rides. Thrills continued with the huge inflatable obstacle course!

PFA Chair Kelly Harrison said: "We had such a fantastic turn out and have raised £1386.58 which is a brilliant result and a massive help towards our sensory garden project plans."

Thank you to everyone helped to make the event a great success!
