Year 1 Visit Blue Planet Aquarium

Park Road Community Primary School pupils brought their learning to life when they enjoyed a fantastic visit to Blue Planet Aquarium.
The Year 1 trip was closely linked to their current science topic, in which children have been learning to recognise and identify different groups of animals, including fish, amphibians and insects.
The visit also supported their geography learning about continents, giving pupils the opportunity to explore a wide variety of species from different parts of the world.
Throughout the day, there was plenty to explore and discover, and staff were incredibly proud of the pupils who demonstrated excellent behaviour and represented the school brilliantly at all times.
The thoughtful and curious questions asked by the children were particularly impressive, showing a real eagerness to learn more.
It was a truly successful trip, combining fun with valuable educational experiences.
Well done, Year 1!
